New Student Registration Information and Forms for the 2013-14 School Year

The Ross Valley School District is currently accepting completed registration forms for the 2013-14 school year for students who will be entering Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grades. Please download the registration information and forms below. Please print out and complete all the registration forms that are applicable to your incoming child’s grade, and return the completed forms to your District’s school of residence as soon as possible.

Priority Date for Student Registration for the 2013-14 School Year

For the 2013-14 school year, priority registration for new students to elementary and middle schools in the Ross Valley School District ends March 1, 2013. Many elementary schools and grade levels in the Ross Valley School District are impacted by increasing enrollment, and if more students register than can be accommodated at a school of residence, students may need to be overflowed to another Ross Valley elementary school where space is available. We utilize the date and time a completed registration is stamped to make decisions as to which students may be overflowed. All students begin at their school of residence, and if there is a need to overflow students, the parents/guardians will be notified of the school their child will be attending no later than the 10^th day after the start of school.

If you have not already done so, please obtain a registration packet from and return completed registration forms to your school of residence. To register for Transitional Kindergarten for the 2013-2014 school year, a child must have his/her 5^th birthday between October 2 and December 2, 2013. To register for Kindergarten for the 2013-14 school year, a child must be five years old on or before October 1, 2013.

To register your student/s, you must be able to provide proof of residency. If you have any questions or if you are unsure which school boundary your residence address falls, please contact any school office for assistance or look up your address in our district-wide database.

Please note that over the past few years, the Ross Valley School District has experienced increased enrollment, and, as such, our facilities are impacted. As we plan for the 2012-13 school year, please note that we do not anticipate having space at any of our schools for students who do not reside in our attendance boundaries. For information related to attendance of students who do not reside within the District’s or a District school’s attendance boundaries, please see below.
