Regular Board meetings are generally held on Wednesday evenings at the RVSD District Office, with the regular meeting beginning (typically) between 7:00 to 7:30 p.m. Closed sessions, if called, generally begin at 6:00 p.m. Please check each specific meeting agenda for the correct starting time.  Note that when a closed session is called, the meeting will begin in open session and the public is welcome to make comments regarding the closed session agenda.  The Board will then adjourn to closed session and the public will be welcomed back into the Board room once the closed session is completed. Agendas for regular meetings will be posted at least 72 hours prior to the meeting in accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act, typically by 6:00 PM on the Friday before the meeting.

Special Meetings are scheduled as needed; dates and times vary. Agendas will be posted at least 24 hours prior to the meeting in accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act.

Emergency Meetings are called in the case of an emergency situation for which prompt action is necessary due to the disruption or threatened disruption of public facilities and services.  In accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act, agendas may be posted without complying with the 24-hour notice requirement for special meetings. 

Meetings are held in the Board Conference Room at the District Office unless otherwise indicated on the meeting agenda.
